Rapper Khaligraph Jones has publicly endorsed rising star Kapitani, declaring him the number one artist in Kenya right now.
He praised Kapitani, acknowledging him as a rapid rise and current influence in the industry.
“We are very happy yaani with everything, man. You are the biggest now, bana,” Jones said.
He highlighted the public attention surrounding Kapitani, and how he observes his crowd responsiveness and how easy going he is with his audience.
“Kapitani ndio inakula saa hii. Saa hii hata ukikoa hapa hivi, kila mtu anainua mkono hivi anasema ndio hiyo yenyewe,” he said.
Khaligraph Jones called on Kapitani to always remember his home hood, emphasizing the importance of keeping the name of his hood alive in his songs.
“Usikose kutaja Kayole, hata nini ikifanyika usikose kutaja Kayole,” Jones added.
He praised himself for his consistently celebrating Kayole in his music, including his 2018 track “Kasayole” featuring Timmy Tdat.
