Kenya’s men’s and women’s Roll Ball national teams have both booked their places in the semifinals of the 7th Roll Ball World Cup in Dubai, sustaining a strong title-defence campaign by the reigning world champions.
The men’s team cruised through the group stage with emphatic victories over Poland (18–0), Pakistan (18–4), and Sri Lanka (10–0).
They confirmed their semifinal spot with a commanding 9–2 quarterfinal win against Saudi Arabia, a performance that highlighted their sharp attacking play and solid defensive organization.
The women’s team has also demonstrated its championship credentials, launching the tournament with a dominant 16–0 win over Argentina.
In the quarterfinals, they showed resilience and composure, overcoming Egypt 4–2. After falling two goals behind early, the defending champions fought back to draw level by halftime before controlling the second half to seal victory.
With the competition now entering its crucial stage, Team Kenya is just one win away from the final in both categories, firmly intent on defending their world titles and extending the nation’s dominance in Roll Ball.
