Kenya is cementing its position as a leading technology and innovation hub in Africa, as the country gears up to host the Connected Africa Summit 2025 later this month in Diani, Kwale County.
The Connected Africa Summit, scheduled for May 26–29, will convene high-level leaders, investors, and tech innovators from across the continent to discuss connectivity, policy frameworks, AI, and Africa’s digital economy.

ICT Cabinet Secretary William Kabogo, speaking during a dinner and awards ceremony at the Connected Africa Golf Tournament held at Muthaiga Golf Club on Friday evening, emphasized the country’s readiness to lead critical continental conversations around digital transformation.
“The Connected Africa Summit is not just an event—it’s a signal that Kenya is ready to lead Africa’s next tech revolution. We are creating platforms for decision-makers and innovators to come together and reimagine the future of digital services on the continent,” said CS Kabogo.

The golf event, a prelude to the summit, brought together leaders from the public and private sectors in a relaxed setting that encouraged informal dialogue and networking.
CS Kabogo was joined by ICT Authority CEO Stanley Kamanguya, board members, and Muthaiga Golf Club officials including Chairman Dennis Mwirigi and Captain Eric Malonza.
