Kenya Police Bullets FC have booked their place in the 2026 CAF Women’s Champions League CECAFA Qualifiers final after a commanding 5-0 victory over South Sudan’s Yei Joint Stars at Kigali Pelé Stadium.
The Kenyan side dominated the semi-final from the opening whistle, with Tereza Engesha breaking the deadlock in the 10th minute with a well-taken strike.
New signing Martha Amunyolette doubled the advantage in the 34th minute, heading home to give the Bullets a 2-0 lead at the break.
The Bullets maintained their dominance after the restart, with Lorna Nyabuto extending the lead in the 55th minute through a spectacular free-kick.
Amunyolette completed her brace from the penalty spot in the 75th minute before Rebecca Okwaro added a fifth goal late in the match to seal an emphatic victory.
Amunyolette was named Player of the Match following her impressive display. Her two goals took her tournament tally to five, placing her joint top of the Golden Boot standings.
Kenya Police Bullets will face Uganda’s Kawempe Muslim Ladies in the final on Monday, August 31, 2026. Kawempe Muslim Ladies reached the final after defeating Commercial Bank of Ethiopia 3-0.
The final winner will represent the CECAFA region at the 2026 CAF Women’s Champions League.
