Under the new system, Google will set limits covering areas such as dynamic memory use, bitmap memory and code optimisation. Developers will also have access to diagnostic tools to help them identify memory problems and improve their apps before the new requirements take effect.
Apps that repeatedly fail to meet the requirements could face consequences on the Play Store.
