Kenya Lionesses Depart for Rugby Africa Cup in Madagascar

The Kenya Lionesses are set to depart the country tonight ahead of the Women’s Rugby Africa Cup, which will take place in Madagascar from June 7 to 15.

During the week-long tournament, the Lionesses will face Uganda, South Africa, and hosts Madagascar as they battle for continental supremacy.

Meanwhile, on the men’s side, the Kenya Simbas are currently in camp in South Africa as they prepare for their Rugby Africa Cup campaign.

The quarterfinal stage of the tournament will be held in Uganda at the Nelson Mandela Stadium from July 8 to 19.

The Simbas will face off against archrivals Uganda Cranes in a high-stakes clash, with a place at the 2027 Rugby World Cup on the line.
