Kenya is ready to welcome the final of the 2024 African Nations Championship (CHAN) today at the Moi International Sports Centre, Kasarani.

Morocco and Madagascar will be fighting for the title in the exciting final. The Ministry of Sports has assured fans and partners that the government has taken extensive steps to guarantee a successful and memorable event. Before departing for the game, Mvurya stated that huge preparations had been made to receive top ranking figures including FIFA executives, the CAF secretary general and his team, the President of Madagascar, and the ministers of sports from Uganda and Tanzania.

“We can stage this event on the global stage and be a model of our country’s great hospitality and ability to organize,” said Mvurya.

To make the occasion effectively, the government has invested heavily in the security and logistics aspects. Mvurya exhorted the fans to take good care of the spirit of the match and watch it with due respect.

For the unlucky ones who wont manage to get tickets, he suggested they form groups at special fan zones scattered around the country and there they might follow the game by screens.

On one hand, the CHAN 2024 Final is in front of the Kenyan football team; on the other, it is an African football festival in Nairobi, with the emphasis on the new African talents.

Large attendance of fans will generate a high-voltage atmosphere at Kasarani that will witness the battle for the title between Morocco and Madagascar.
