Rapper and entrepreneur Kanye West has taken to social media to appeal to former U.S. President Donald Trump, urging him to free music mogul Sean Combs, popularly known as Diddy, who is currently facing legal challenges. Kanye, known for his outspoken personality, made a public plea for Diddy’s release despite the serious accusations levied against him.
Using his social media platforms, including X (formerly Twitter), Facebook, and Instagram, Kanye posted heartfelt messages calling for Diddy’s freedom. In one post, he directly addressed President Trump, tagging him and pleading, “Please free my brother Puff.” His message conveyed not just concern, but deep personal solidarity with Diddy, whom he referred to as his brother.
In another post, Kanye went a step further, describing Diddy as both his hero and idol, acknowledging the significant influence Diddy has had on his career and life. Kanye’s posts revealed the strong bond he shares with the music mogul, and his frustration with the current situation.
Kanye also shared that he would be selling their collaborative Sean John collection, a project they had discussed before Diddy’s legal troubles began. The proceeds from the sale would be split 50/50, as per their original agreement. Kanye revealed that due to Diddy’s incarceration, he is unable to make or collect any money from the business ventures, which led Kanye to make the decision to ensure Diddy’s share goes to his son, Justin.
“I’m selling the Sean John collaboration that me and my brother spoke about before they locked him up. We’re splitting the profits 50/50… I just found out that Puff is not allowed to make or collect money while he’s locked up, so I’m sending his half of the money to Justin,” Kanye explained in his post.
In his comments about Diddy’s current situation, Kanye suggested that those responsible for Diddy’s legal woes would soon be revealed, signaling his belief that the mogul’s downfall was orchestrated by others.
