Kaluma Boy, is back in the headlines this time with a heartfelt appeal that has stirred conversation across Kenyan social media. The young man, who recently went viral after a wave of public attention shared images of an active construction site with timber frames already in place.

A post circulating on Facebook, says he is now calling on well-wishers who had promised different building materials to come through so the project may go on smoothly. These items, he says, range from iron sheets and gypsum boards to tiles, cabros, doors, frames, and a gate, and even plumbing materials.

“Please deliver so the project can go on easily,” the post reads, accompanied by a prayer emoji a humble reminder that viral fame comes both with expectations and opportunities.

Many Kenyans praised the initiative of the young man, saying it was inspiring to see him utilize the fnds he received on constructing a house. Others, however, have reacted with humour, memes, and spirited debate about the project’s purpose and the pledges being requested.
