Royal Media Services has embarked on a reshuffle with top radio presenter Heff Koinange affected by the shuffle.The media powerhouse shifted various radio hosts to different slots in the various media houses. Jeff and Igunza are expected to host the Drive show from 4_7pm every weekday.Royal Media Services has labelled the reshuffle, an Airwave interruption.
RMS ICT & Radio Director Fred Afune shared, “The shake-up is daring: iconic morning show kings and queens will be trading their dawn alarms for the high-energy ‘drive’ time slots, while supercharged evening hosts will find themselves caffeinated and ready to tackle the breakfast rush.”
Fred added that, “By moving a morning legend to the evening or a late-night storyteller to the mid-morning, we are challenging the presenters to bring their magic to a new audience and giving the fans a side of their favourite stars they’ve never heard before.”
Jeff Koinange had been away for nearly 6 months off air and returned towards the end of last year. There had been a gossip mill around his state of health but he didn’t confirm any rumours. His return to the Jeff Koinange Live was received warmly by his fans who had consistently asked about his whereabouts.
