Nelius Mukami, wife of Isaac Mwaura, Kenya’s government spokesperson has been discharged from hospital after undergoing surgery. Nelius has been fighting endometriosis for more than a decade. She has undergone multiple surgeries in a bid to manage her critical health condition. The recent surgery she underwent was her third major operation. She described her journey as emotionally and physically challenging.
Nelius shared a photo of herself in a wheelchair with a bouquet of flowers in her hand. She captioned the photo with a special message expressing gratitude to the medical team that took proper care of her.She wrote,
“Bent but not broken. I am finally out of the hospital and cannot express enough how grateful I am for all the prayers, best wishes, and unwavering support. The surgery had its challenges, but thanks to the skilled doctors, everything was handled with great care,”
Mukami also thanked her family and friends who supported her and ecouraged her, giving her strength to overcome the challenging moments. She wrote,
“To my incredible family and friends, your love and encouragement helped me through the toughest moments. I am now on the journey to healing and restoration, and your support has truly made all the difference”,
Nelius also stated that she is focusing on her healing journey and she hopes that her life will return to normal.
