The Inspector General of Police, Mr. Douglas Kanja, today joined President William Ruto in marking the 62nd Madaraka Day at Raila Odinga Stadium, Homa Bay County.

In his address, President Ruto emphasised the blue economy as a central pillar of his Bottom-Up Economic Transformation Agenda, noting its promise in creating jobs and enhancing food security.
Also in attendance were Slovenia’s President Nataša Pirc Musar, Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua, Cabinet Secretaries, Governors, MPs, and other dignitaries.
