TV host and father of 12, Nick Cannon, has made headlines yet again—this time for putting a jaw-dropping $10 million (approx. KSh1.29 billion) insurance policy on his testicles.

Revealing the surprising move on the Tea Time with Raven & Miranda podcast, the 44-year-old entertainer jokingly—but seriously—referred to his private parts as his “most valuable asset.” Each testicle is now reportedly insured for $5 million (about KSh647 million).

While Cannon hinted at the idea last year, the full details came to light on May 1, 2025. What started as a lighthearted discussion became reality through a partnership with men’s grooming brand Dr. Squatch.

“They were like, ‘Hey, women celebrities insure their legs and faces—what’s your most prized asset?’” Cannon shared. “I said, ‘My balls!’ And they said, ‘Say less.’”

The policy, cheekily dubbed “Ball-to-Ball Coverage,” raised eyebrows but is entirely legitimate. According to Cannon, the goal is more meaningful than it sounds: in the event of any injury to his insured parts, the payout would go directly to his 12 children, whom he shares with six different women.

“If I happen to lose one, all the money goes to my kids,” Cannon explained.

The move may sound outrageous, but Cannon framed it as a unique way to protect his family’s future—adding a whole new meaning to “family jewels.”
