Embakasi police have arrested two suspects linked to a series of housebreakings and thefts in Utawala and surrounding areas, following swift action triggered by a resident’s report of a burglary at Haiza Apartment.

Detectives traced the suspects’ getaway vehicle a Mazda CX5 with fake license plates from forensic leads to Thogoto, where it was found parked outside a bar. Of the four occupants, two fled as police moved in, but the driver, Kelvin Kasyoki, and his accomplice, Wilson Waweru, were arrested.

A search of the vehicle revealed crime tools, including fake number plates, crowbars, and master keys. Both suspects are in custody as investigations continue, with the vehicle and tools held as evidence. Police are pursuing additional suspects believed to be part of the gang.
