Labour Cabinet Secretary Alfred Mutua has announced that a reputable company in Saudi Arabia is urgently seeking 1000 drivers for small vehicles, buses, and trucks to work in the country.
Mutua said the interviews for the positions will begin on Thursday, December 19, at Kabete National Polytechnic.
The interviews will also be held at Nyeri National Polytechnic on Friday and at Kenya Coast National Polytechnic on Monday, December 23.
Interested candidates are required to have original driving licenses and certificates.
"If you do not have a passport, don’t worry! Expedited passport processing will be facilitated," said Mutua.
Successful candidates will be paid KSh 50,000 per month. They will be provided with free accommodation, transport, food and medical care.
"Prepare in advance and, if possible, have the KSh 15,000 medical fee ready. Successful candidates will travel immediately after completing their medical clearance," added Mutua.
