Former Member of Parliament for Tetu Francis Thombe Nyammo is dead at the age of 86.
His death was confirmed on Monday, September 29, by Speaker of National Assembly Moses Wetang’ula who praised the veteran politician for the decades he had served and led.
To my great regret, I have received news of the passing away of former Tetu MP, Hon. Francis Thombe Nyammo, he will be remembered for his exemplary service, leadership, and commitment to people’s well-being. My heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, and the people of Tetu. His soul may rest in peace”,Wetang’ula said in a statement.
As per reports, Nyammo died on Sunday morning.
