The Football Kenya Federation (FKF) concluded its referee training programs in Moyale, Marsabit, and West Pokot on Monday.

The sessions in Moyale and Marsabit kicked off on February 27, while training in West Pokot started on February 28.

Experienced instructors Richard Obare, Edward Lumbugu, and Caleb Amwayi led the training in Moyale, Marsabit, and West Pokot, respectively.

A total of 127 referees participated in the programs, with 40 from Moyale, 57 from Marsabit, and 30 from West Pokot.

The referees were taught the latest FIFA rules, match management strategies, and the fitness requirements necessary for high-level officiating.

FKF’s initiative to bring training to various counties demonstrates its commitment to fostering refereeing talent and ensuring access to professional education across the country.

These efforts are part of FKF’s broader vision to improve the standard of football officiating, promoting integrity, professionalism, and excellence in match refereeing.
