Officers from the Transnational Organized Crime Unit and Kitengela Police Station rescued 58 Ethiopian nationals who were being held captive in a house near the House of Deliverance Center in Kitengela.
The operation was launched following a tip-off from concerned locals who reported seeing a group of Ethiopians confined in a maisonette in the area.
Upon receiving the information, the officers acted swiftly and discovered the victims, who appeared weak, malnourished, and lacked identification documents.
They were found in the company of two suspects, Daniel Nduati Kingoo and Peter Maina Kimemia, who were subsequently arrested.

Initial investigations revealed that the victims had been brought to the house three days prior and were waiting to be transported to South Africa.
Of the 58 rescued individuals, 28 were taken to Kitengela Police Station, while the remaining 30 were escorted to Isinya Police Station.
The two Kenyan suspects were transferred to Muthaiga Police Station for further processing.

A motorcycle with registration number KMGK 123T, recovered at the scene, has been taken into custody at Kitengela Police Station as evidence.
