FBI Director Kash Patel is engaged to his country singer girlfriend, Alexis Wilkins. Wilkins showed off her ring with the caption “Went and got the law involved.”
The couple’s engagement was conformed in a public announcement accompanied by photographs showing them together, with Wilkins sharing a black and white photo standing with Patel.
Patel 46-year-old met Wilkins at a friend’s event in Nashville in 2022 and started early 2023. Patel took over as head of the FBI in 2025, when she attended his swearing in.
Wilkins said she has always liked Patel and his character is incredible; he is exactly who is all the time.
“I have always liked him. When I met him, I just liked that he was so, so honest. He’s exactly who he is all the time. His character is incredible. His values are incredible,” Wilkins said.
The country singer released her debut EP, “Grit” in April 2023. She is also a political commentator and has been a consultant for the American Border Story since May 2025, as well as a board member of the National Rifle Association (NRA) since June 2025.
Patel was nominated by President Donald Trump as the ninth director of the FBI.
