The family of the late Herman Odhiambo Omamba, former MP for Uriri, is demanding a comprehensive investigation into the brutal murder of their son, Mike Omamba.
Mike’s lifeless body was discovered early Wednesday morning lying in a pool of blood just a few meters from his residence in Migori town.
According to sources, Mike was returning home from a local establishment in Migori town when he was attacked and killed.
Speaking on behalf of the family, Gerald Omamba and Kennedy Odhiambo revealed that Mike was stabbed in the chest by his assailants. They described the killing as a senseless.
The family has urged the police to fully investigate the crime and ensure that those culpable are brought to justice. The body has been transferred to the Migori County Referral Hospital mortuary to await autopsy.
