President William Ruto has appointed retired General Robert Kibochi, the former Chief of Defence Forces (CDF), as the chairperson of the board for Mwai Kibaki Referral Hospital.
The appointment, effective from November 22, 2024, is for a term of three years, as outlined in the official gazette notice.
General Kibochi, a seasoned military leader, served in the Kenya Defence Forces for over 40 years.
Throughout his distinguished career, he held various leadership roles at all levels of command and staff, ultimately becoming the 10th Chief of Defence Forces, a position he held from May 2020 until his retirement in May 2023.
