Kenya Premier League winners Gor Mahia and Kenya Police FC kissed goodbye to CAF champions league following defeats by Egypt’s Al Ahly SC and Zamalek SC respectively.
K’Ogalo lost 3-0 to Al Ahly in the rematch, second round preliminary contest at Cairo International stadium last night.
Tey lost by a similar scoreline against the Egyptian giant during the first leg last weekend at Nyayo stadium.
On the other and Police FC’s journey to the group stages of the tournament ended on Friday night after losing 2-1 to the Zamalek SC in Cairo.
In the first leg they lost staged at the Nyayo National Stadium last week on Saturday, the law enforcers lost 1-0 to these defending champions.

Ahly’s Ramy Rabia put the hosts ahead in the 23rd minute before Wesam Abo Ali widened the advantage, nine minutes after the interval, ten Taher Mohamma closed the chapter sending Gor Mahia home.
Ahmed Mostafa ‘Zizo’ and Naser Abd Elhamaed scored for the Zamaleks while Jesse Were scored for the Police FC.
The two Kenyan side will now return home to embark on the domestic premier league which resumed last weekend.
