The ongoing fallout between Tanzanian Bongo Flava stars Harmonize and his former signee Ibraah has taken a dramatic turn, with both artists engaging in a heated war of words on social media. The tension between the two escalated after Ibraah formally announced his departure from Konde Gang, the label founded by Harmonize, with the announcement reportedly demanding a staggering Tsh 1 billion exit fee.
Harmonize, clearly angered by the timing of the announcement, claimed Ibraah intentionally ruined a special dayβhis granddaughter Amaraβs birthdayβby choosing to publicise his exit then. Without naming names, he implied that both he and his partner, actress Frida Kajala, were emotionally affected by the move. βHe wanted to trend on a day that meant the world to me,β Harmonize wrote, adding that Ibraahβs actions were driven by envy and malice.
In response, Ibraah took to social media to accuse Harmonize of manipulating the narrative. While acknowledging the role Harmonize played in shaping his career, Ibraah said he had chosen not to speak to the media to avoid further tarnishing his former bossβs image. However, he hinted at holding onto darker secrets, including a shocking claim involving the suspicious death of his mother.
βIβve avoided speaking badly about you, but you even tried to drag my late mother into this mess,β Ibraah posted, vowing never to return to Konde Gang regardless of Harmonizeβs attempts to control the situation through contract terms.
As the online feud continues, fans remain divided, with many expressing disappointment over how quickly their professional relationship has soured. Meanwhile, Harmonize insists that Ibraah must honour the terms of his contract and pay the exit fee in full.
