The government is committed to enhancing accountability and ensuring stewardship of public resources.

President William Ruto has given his undertaking to ensure that the newly reconstituted Cabinet responsibly executes the transformation agenda.

He argued that leaders ought to focus on delivery and diligently dedicate their efforts to national transformation and the interests of Kenyans.

“The people of Kenya have made their expectations known in bold terms; they have also made their intolerance for failure, inefficiency, corruption, and ineptitude equally clear,” Ruto said.

This, he explained, shall be carried out with integrity, efficiency, transparency and inclusivity.

“We have built a firm foundation over the last two years on the basis of the Bottom-Up Economic Transformation Agenda focused on job creation, development of local industrial capacity, and wealth creation,” Ruto said.

He added that Kenya stands at the beginning of a new chapter in the country’s governance and development.
