It has been announced by the Kenya Medical Training College that certificates for 2025 graduates will be ready in December.
According to a notice by KMTC CEO Kelly Oluoch on Monday, November 12, the graduates can collect the certificates at the KMTC headquarters in Nairobi from Monday, December 8 to Wednesday, December 17, between 9 am and 4 pm on weekdays. Certificates will only be issued out after students have completed all required clearance with the college.
The college also confirmed that the 94th graduation ceremony will be held on Thursday, December 4, at the Moi International Sports Centre in Kasarani. This year’s theme is “Promoting Health and Saving Lives.”
With 96 campuses in 45 counties, KMTC hosts more than 60,000 students in different medical courses. More than 20,000 are set to graduate this year and enter into the job market.
The graduates have been asked to verify their details and pay for the graduation fee by Friday, November 14. The graduation fee is a non-refundable fee of Ksh 4,000 that can be paid through the Jiunge platform. A guide to using the platform is available on the KMTC website.
They also have to have cleared college fees, get a clearance form from campus, show proof of the payment for the graduation fee, and show their national ID to get graduation gowns.
The gowns can be collected from Monday, November 17 to Friday, November 28, 2024, between 9 am and 4 pm on weekdays from the KMTC Headquarters. Graduates return the gowns by Wednesday, December 17 at 4 pm. A Ksh 100 daily penalty will be levied for any late returns.
