Kenyan artist and content creator Dan Wema is smiling all the way to the bank after collecting his latest Facebook payment

On his official page, Wema revealed that he discovered how to make Facebook money by Purity Nduta Macharia, and the move has since been rewarding. In his post, he shared a PayPal alert stating that Facebook had deposited a pretty good sum of money in his account, inspiring and entertaining his followers.

“Husikii Purity Nduta Macharia alinifundisha ku monetize Facebook… Pesa yote tumepata jana inaenda kufungulia vijana biashara na tutabarikiwa zaidi. Watch and see,”

The artist noted that whatever publicity, good or bad, is actually pushing his content forward, and how hard work and creativity on social media will in the end pay off.

His fans flooded his comment page with congratulations, and others joked that they now had new motivation to serious business of content creation. “Mtu aweke tu video, Facebook italipa,” joked one of his fans.

Wema’s testimony is at a time when more Kenyan creatives are adopting monetization platforms on Facebook, YouTube, and TikTok, turning their content into business.

Dan Wema declared that the revenues would be put to use in setting up businesses for the youth, something which further cements his commitment to the betterment of the community.
