It’s a huge blow to Bishop Ben Kamau (Kiengei) of Jesus Christ Compassionate Ministries Int’l-JCM as Ms. Damaris Wanjiru (Dama Mobile Spares) tenders her resignatiin as the church’s matron. According to a letter circulating on social media, Damaris stepped down today, 13th September, 2024. 

The city business woman is now the third senior church official to quit leadership role at JCM church. She follows after the exit of Mr Antony Muya, CEO Nova Prime and Mrs Wanjiku, Davil Water Solutions. 

Muthee Kiengei’s new JCM Church has been at the center of a dramatic love triangle.The crisis escalated early this week after a  phone recording was leaked by a US-based woman on social media .

The phone call between Wanjiru and Kimani has made waves on social media, where the two discussed personal and explosive issues related to Bishop Kiengei and his wife.

The phonecall’s contents stirred up speculation and controversy among followers of the church and the public. Reacting to the revelations, Bishop Kiengei urged his church followers to exercise caution even when trusting other people with personal information. During a sermon on Wednesday, he said , 

” You have seen a case where someone opened up to their friend in confidence, and then the information got to the public. If they could betray their close friend, imagine what could happen with someone more distant,”

 According to allegations, his wife Joy Kiengei is in conflict with Dama, CEO Dama Mobile Spares. Dama is accused of interfering with the duo’s marriage. 

The situation has become tense with Joy Kiengei reportedly feeling betrayed. Supporters from both sides have thronged to social media to fan flames of the heated dispute. Most individuals claim the church is under threat because of these personal issues. 

Bishop Kiengei has remained silent about the allegations circulating online. The circulating rumours suggest deeper cracks in his marriage. The drama has captured public attention. It has left many wondering how it will affect the duo’s future and the church.
