Newly sworn-in Cabinet Secretary for Public Service, Human Capital Development and Special Programmes, Geoffrey Ruku, has called on Kenyans to unite behind President William Ruto and Deputy President Prof. Kithure Kindiki in fostering national development and progress.

Speaking during an Easter Sunday service and the ordination of Pastor Anderson Mwiathi at Ítúgúrúrú Baptist Church in Chuka Igambang’ombe, Tharaka Nithi County, CS Ruku made his first public address since assuming office.

He appealed to residents and the broader Kenyan public to support the Kenya Kwanza administration, citing its development agenda and commitment to transforming the country.

CS Ruku emphasized the importance of collaboration between government and citizens in achieving lasting reforms. He reassured the public that his ministry would work closely with all government departments to implement practical, timely, and citizen-centered reforms aimed at enhancing service delivery across the country.“Our focus is on ensuring that every Kenyan feels the impact of government through improved services and opportunities,” Ruku stated.

He lauded the achievements of the Kenya Kwanza government so far, noting ongoing initiatives targeting youth empowerment, job creation, and public service efficiency.

The event brought together local leaders, clergy, and community members, offering a platform for the CS to outline his ministry’s priorities and rally grassroots support for the government’s development agenda.
