Chelsea stormed back to beat Real Betis 4-1 in the UEFA Conference League final in Wroclaw, becoming the first club to win all four major European trophies.
Abde Ezzalzouli gave Betis an early lead, capitalizing on a Chelsea error in the ninth minute.
The Spanish side threatened a second, but Chelsea held firm, struggling to break down Betis despite dominating possession.
A second-half revival sparked by Cole Palmer turned the game. The midfielder set up Enzo Fernandez and Nicolas Jackson for quick-fire goals, flipping the momentum.
Substitute Jadon Sancho sealed the win with a smart finish in the 83rd minute, before Moises Caicedo added a fourth.
This marks Chelsea’s first trophy under Todd Boehly’s ownership and breaks a long streak of Spanish dominance in European finals—ending a run of 27 straight wins for Spanish teams in continental finals involving at least one La Liga side.
Despite Betis fans outnumbering Chelsea supporters in Wroclaw, it was the Premier League side celebrating at the final whistle.
Local authorities reported 28 arrests following fan clashes before the match.
