The Kenya Conference of Catholic Bishops (KCCB) has strongly condemned President William Ruto’s government.
Speaking on Thursday, November 14, the bishops took issue with the rampant corruption, abduction and femicide cases reported in the country recently.
The men of God regretted that President Ruto’s Kenya Kwanza administration was allegedly developing a culture of deception.
On his part, Bishop Dominic Kimengich said truth no longer exists under the current administration.
"A culture of lies is swiftly replacing the integrity and respect that Kenyans deserve. Basically, it seems that truth does not exist, and it does; it's only what the government says. Kenyans have helplessly tolerated lies told to them constantly by the politicians.
Kenyans must learn not to applaud or validate the lies that politicians tell them, but rather, must resolve to seek and to be led by the truth," Kimengich, the Bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Eldoret said.
