The 20 people nominated to serve in a broad-based government will be sworn in this Friday at a ceremony to be held State House in Nairobi.
This follows a successful and vigorous vetting process before the Parliamentary Committee on Appointments carried out at City Hall in Nairobi county.
Members of the Parliamentary Committee under the stewardship of Speaker of the National Assembly Moses Wetang’ula and vice chairperson Gladys Shollei have gone for a re-treat to write their report.
At the end of the vetting during the weekend the committee is expected to table their report at the floor of the August house for debate and approval.
The list with recommendations is expected to be forwarded to the appointing authority.

The latest nominees are for Attorney-General Dorcas Oduor and for East African Community Affairs (EAC) Beatrice Askul who are expected to appear before the vetting committee during anti government protests on Thursday.
The two are to close the nomination chapter for a government of unity.
