Prominent Kenyan politician and youth leader Babu Owino shared his reflections on Instagram after attending the RHEMA FEAST prayer rally something he stated was so much more than a prayer rally. It was an encounter of deep unity, hope, and restored faith that left a lasting effect on all who attended.

Sharing a series of photos from the event, Babu Owino was overcome with appreciation for what he described as a soul-stirring and inspiring experience.

“It was more than an event, it was a moment of unity, hope, and spiritual empowerment,” he shared.

At a moment when international and local communities are often torn apart and overwhelmed by conflict, Babu continued, the prayer rally was a reminder of the power that resides in people’s shared faith. Individuals from every walk of life young and old, of different ethnic and social backgrounds stood together, shoulder to shoulder, not to protest, but to pray.

“People from all walks of life… lifting their voices for not protest, but prayer,” he went on, highlighting the passionate yet peaceful spirit that defined the event.

Most moving, he said, was to witness people unburden themselves emotionally laying down their struggles, hopes, and fears in a communal moment of healing.

“It reminded me that prayer is not just something religious; it’s something human. It’s how we deal, how we hope, and how we heal.”

Babu Owino urged his followers not to let the inspiration from such events disappear, but to carry over the spirit to their lives by living more, serving more, and living meaningfully.

“These aren’t moments just for inspiration. They’re a call to action,” he emphasized.
