Kenyan content creator Baba Talisha has criticized people who are sharing private screenshots of their past conversations with the late artist Shalkido, claiming that most of them are sharing for attention.
In an angry post, Baba Talisha claimed that screenshots don’t prove love they only show guilt. He wrote,
“Screenshots don’t prove love, they expose guilt. You ignored his messages, now you’re using them for clout. Let him rest in peace.”
He went on and blamed some people for pretending to care now that Shalkido has died, yet they were nowhere to be found when he needed a helping hand.
“You never showed up for him while he was alive, but now your DMs are trending. The same people who never replied or showed up are now posting screenshots to look relevant. Shame on you.”
In the same post, he also gave a passionate shout-out to Oga Obinna, praising him for being a support to Shalkido when he was alive.
“While many came after his death, Oga Obinna was there when he was alive. He led Shalkido with love. May God remember you. You were a real brother when he needed one most.”.
His message here is a call to action to provide people with love and support while they are alive not after they’re dead.
