Kenyan socialite Amber Ray has defended herself and her daughter from social media critics who are questioning over their appearance, as is rising negativity in the society becomes concerning.
In a post shared on her Instagram, she addressed the critics regarding her personal life and the negative lifestyle they claim she is influencing in her daughter. This raised concerns among fans and followers about her child’s growth, with accusations of her bleaching her daughter’s skin.
“As for my daughter, I could never look at a child God entrusted to me and think she needs to be anything other than what He created her to be. She is loved, accepted and celebrated exactly as she is,” she stated.
Her statement was meant to defend and support her daughter despite criticism from people who do not want to see her prosper in life. She also mentioned that she prefers to focus on her peace of mind rather than engage in disagreements with those who are always ready to criticize others.
“When you live in peace, you stop trying to convince people who have already decided not to understand you,” she wrote.
She thanked those who have watched her journey for the last 20 years, saying its worth and she appreciates them.
