Alliance Girls High School Veteran teacher Peter Albert Ayiro has resigned from the Teachers Service Commission (TSC) after working for 26 years, citing unbearable cyberbullying, fabricated claims, and public humiliation. The C.U. patron was earlier accused of sexually exploiting hyis students at the institution.
In his August 17, 2025, letter to the TSC Secretary/CEO via the Principal, Alliance Girls High School, Ayiro indicated that his immediate resignation was effective. He also assured payment of one month’s salary in lieu of notice and attached proof of payment to his letter.
Ayiro addressed in grave concern the challenges that led to his move, explaining that he had been subjected to “evil, monstrous and persistent cyberbullying, threats of physical harm, public humiliation, and even ostracism from my church.” He referred to these events as a personal attack on his social standing, livelihood, and character, which had subjected him to immense stress.
Despite his exit, Ayiro reflected on his long service with gratitude:
“I thank the privilege of teaching for the last 26 years. I have gathered immense experience and growth throughout my life. It is my hope that the Commission continues to adopt fairness, transparency and support for all its employees in their noble profession as teachers.”
The TSC remains yet to comment officially on his resignation.
