Popular ODM diehard Nuru Okanga has surprised Senator karen Nyamu with a marriage proposal at Kenyatta International Convention Center (KICC). In the social media video that is already making rounds, Nuru is depicted surprising Karen as she enters the building.

Nuru insisted on offering her a warm hug before he shoves a shiny ring and makes aprioposal to the youthful parliamentarian. Nuriu shard that he has been looking for Karen Nyamu for a longtime now until he bumped into her and finally proposed to her.
Karen on the other hand noted that she had not met Nuru before and only knew him from his Tiktok videos. Nuru is recorded saying,
“Hii nakubook…mimi nimemtafuta nilikuwa nimenunua niko nayo tayari hii ukitoa… hii si ya kuomba na uko msoft”
