British actor Tom Holland officially became the highest-grossing actor in cinema history. The 30-year-old actor has etched his name into Hollywood’s record books, surpassing industry veterans and redefining what it means to be a global box office powerhouse.
Holland’s films have collectively earned an estimated USD 15.5 billion worldwide, a figure that places him ahead of Zoe Saldana and Scarlett Johansson, both of whom dominated the rankings in recent years.
He recently surpassed Chris Pratt, claiming the top spot among male actors. His rise to the top was accelerated by his 2026 released movies: Spider-Man: Brand New Day, grossing over USD 2.4 billion worldwide and The Odyssey, Christopher Nolan’s movie, which grossed USD 1.6 billion globally.
In early August, both the films placed him sixth, rising to the number one spot by mid-September. His course shows no signs of slowing down as he prepares for his upcoming films that include A Fred Astaire, directed by Paul King; The Partner, a legal drama adapted from John Grisham’s novel; and the highly anticipated Spider-Man 5, rumored to be directed by Destin Daniel Cretton.
