US Actress Hayden Panettiere

United States actress Hayden Panettiere has died at the age of 36, just days before her 37th birthday, with no cause of death known.

Panettiere is known for her role in TV shows Heroes and Nashville and films including Raising Helen. The Nashville music scene was premiered in 2012, where she played as an ambitious country-pop singer who established herself in the competitive music scene alongside Connie Britton.

Her performance earned her two consecutive Golden Globe nominations for Best Supporting Actress in 2013 and 2014. She played in different roles in TV films including One Life to Live, A Bug’s Life, Remember the Titans, Heroes and Nashville.

Panettiere began her career at the age four years; this year, she released a memoir titled “This is Me,” a reckoning, recounting the struggles of growing up as a child actor and her experience with addiction, abuse and recovery.

She has one child with former partner Ukrainian boxer Wladimir Klitschko, born in 2014

Her father, Skip Panettiere, has described the death of his daughter as profound sadness, as she brought immeasurable love and joy to all who knew her.

“It is with profound sadness that we share the tragic passing of our beloved Hayden. She was an incredible light and a force of nature who brought immeasurable love and joy to all who knew her and to the millions who watched her onscreen,” Hayden father said.

The father has requested for privacy as the family takes time to process this unimaginable loss. Fellow US actress Selma Blair has paid tribute to Panettiere stating, “I love you. Don’t be gone.  Please.”
