Suna East Member of Parliament Junet Mohamed has accused Kiharu MP Ndindi Nyoro of unfairly directing national development resources to his constituency during his tenure as Chairperson of the National Assembly’s Budget and Appropriations Committee.

Junet claimed that several development projects undertaken in Kiharu Constituency were a result of disproportionate budgetary allocations rather than equitable national planning. He argued that Nyoro’s position at the helm of the powerful budget committee gave him undue influence over the distribution of public funds.

“The level of development seen in Kiharu did not happen by accident. It was a direct result of unfair budgetary prioritisation,” Junet alleged, calling for greater transparency and accountability in the budget-making process.

However, Ndindi Nyoro has previously maintained that projects implemented in Kiharu were achieved through proper planning, efficient use of resources, and adherence to parliamentary procedures. Supporters of the Kiharu MP argue that his performance should be viewed as a benchmark for effective leadership rather than favoritism.
