Kenyan digital creator and media personality Mungai Eve has firmly addressed the growing body-shaming comments she has been receiving online, making it clear that she will no longer tolerate bullying disguised as “opinions.”
In an emotional message shared on her social media platforms, Eve reflected on her long-standing experience with body-related criticism. She recalled a painful moment during an interview with radio presenter Jalang’o, where she broke down in tears while explaining how people constantly bullied her for being too skinny.
According to Eve, the criticism has now shifted, with some social media users targeting her over perceived weight gain a pattern she says highlights how impossible it is to satisfy online critics.
“What makes you think you have any right to comment on my body now?” she questioned, expressing frustration at the entitlement some feel to police her appearance.
The content creator revealed that she has reached a breaking point and is ready to confront the issue head-on. Going forward, Eve says she will publicly expose anyone who leaves hateful or demeaning comments under her posts.
“From now on, anyone who comments nonsense under my posts will be posted right here. We need to start showing the world who the real bullies are,” she stated.
Her message quickly resonated with fans and fellow creators, many of whom applauded her courage and honesty. Supporters flooded her comment sections with messages of encouragement, praising her for standing up not just for herself, but for anyone who has ever been shamed for their body.
Mungai Eve’s stand adds to the growing conversation around online harassment, self-worth, and mental health, especially for public figures constantly under scrutiny.
