Kenyan musician Willy Paul has responded to influencer Ruth K’s most recent post where she praised him lavishly for his global success and as expected, he wasn’t shy either.

Ruth K had earlier commended the Sitolia hitmaker, suggesting that Kenyans do not give him the respect he deserves even though he is making waves internationally. “Willy Paul is a world artist but I think Kenyans give him fewer flowers,” she posted, suggesting his songs trend globally on TikTok.

In his response, placed on the internet Willy Paul thanked the acknowledgement but did not forget to address his critics as well.

“Thank you for the acknowledgement. Those individuals know the truth. But since I don’t kiss a, they don’t give me my flowers and it’s fine. I still won’t kiss no a,” stated Willy Paul.

The artist went on to promote his international supremacy, claiming that his songs get more airplay outside the nation than most Kenyan artists’ music.

“There’s a reason I’m the only Kenyan musician whose songs get more airplay abroad than most of your musicians here. Even if you force others, the truth remains Pozze is known worldwide,” he claimed.

Willy Paul also announced his new track #Ngunga is currently the nation’s number one song.
