Kapseret MP and President William Ruto’s ally Oscar Sudi dropped a bombshell after suggesting that Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua will be impeached in two weeks.
“Maximum two weeks,” Sudi shared on social media repetitively on Sunday, September 22.
Seemingly irritated by the lawmaker’s sentiments, Githunguri MP Gathoni Wamuchomba strongly responded and threw in Sudi’s academic qualifications card. It is worth noting that the case challenging Sudi’s academic papers was concluded and the MP was exonerated.
"Sudi, we know what you’re up to. We see through your intentions. You’re trying to position yourself next to the president to push your agenda. After your failed dealings with Gachagua, you want him out so you can execute your plans. We are your medicine, Sudi," Wamuchomba stated.
On his part, former UDA secretary-general Cleophas Malala claimed Gachagua’s critics had selected Junet Mohamed and Peter Kaluma as the faces of the impeachment motion.
Responding to Wamuchomba, Sudi shared another message hinting that the impeachment decision had been made and that there was no turning back.
"The die is cast. Good riddance," said Sudi.
