Cape Media Limited has tapped the services of celebrated media personality Farida Karoney.
This is a media comeback for Karoney, who took a break for public service after being appointed Cabinet Secretary for Lands and Physical Planning by former President Uhuru Kenyatta.
She served in the position from 2018 to 2022.
Karoney is joining Cape Media, which owns TV47 and Radio47, among other subsidiaries, as the Growth Strategy Consultant.
Previously, she served as Chief Operating Officer and Editorial Director at Royal Media Services.
She also had stints at the Kenya Television Network (KTN), Nation Media Group, and Al Jazeera.
