A Milimani Law court has issued a warrant for arrest against Juja MP George Koimburi and two others.
This is after they failed to appear in court for plea-taking after being charged with defeating justice and giving false information about his supposed abduction.
During the Wednesday, July 16 session, five other accused persons, including Juja CDF chairperson Peter Kiratu Muhia and Kanyenya-ini MCA Grace Nduta Wairimu, appeared in court and pleaded not guilty to the charges.
The eight are accused of conspiring to stage-manage the abduction of MP Koimburi to prevent his arrest and arraignment over land fraud charges filed by the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (ODPP).
