Deputy President Kithure Kindiki has taken former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua head-on in a war of words.
In a blistering statement laden with sharp criticism and political bravado, Kindiki sneered at Gachagua’s political career, terming it brief, having only served a quarter term as DP, which he said is sustained through shallow threats, hubris, pride and incompetence.
The second in command noted that Gachagua, who has sustained attacks against him, often making fun of his soft voice, is only aimed at distracting him and President William Ruto from delivering to Kenyans.
"Since your intention is to distract us, we will continue to focus on the important duty of building Kenya as is required of us by the responsibilities of office," said Kindiki.However, while delivering to Kenyans, Kindiki said he will not let Gachagua’s supposed misleading rhetoric pass, vowing to take him head-on.
"However, we will still find the time to take you head-on and obliterate your petty and juvenile theatrics in the most spectacular and decisive manner. You are naively mistaken," Kindiki added.
