President William Ruto has come to the rescue of tens of Makina residents in Kibra who lost their property to fire on Saturday, May 24.

The fire, unfortunately, claimed eight lives, four of whom were members of the same family.

On Sunday, May 25, shortly after attending a church service at AIC Kibra, President Ruto visited the affected families, donating food and beddings to them.

In his remarks, the head of state assured the victims of full government support, including compensation for the property lost.

He assured them that no one would be left behind in the exercise.

The fire left 20 other people with serious injuries.
