Tatu City has entered into a strategic partnership with Stanbic Bank Kenya to simplify and expand access to property ownership for Kenyans and diaspora investors.
The collaboration, formalized through a Memorandum of Understanding, offers flexible financing options aimed at eliminating key financial barriers to homeownership.
Through the agreement, prospective buyers can access up to 105 percent financing for homes valued at KES 10.5 million. The loans will be offered at a competitive fixed interest rate of 9.5 percent made possible through Stanbic Bank’s partnership with the Kenya Mortgage Refinance Company (KMRC).“This partnership is about removing the financing barrier and helping Kenyans take the bold step toward home ownership,” said Erskine Kiliru, Sales Director at Tatu City. “Together with Stanbic Bank, we are creating a seamless, transparent process that supports buyers every step of the way.”
Stanbic Bank’s Head of Product, Mwaura Mwangi, said the initiative aligns with the bank’s commitment to empowering more Kenyans to own homes. “By partnering with Tatu City, we are unlocking access to high-quality developments and helping Kenyans build lasting wealth,” he said.
The financing will be applicable to properties within Tatu City and its sister developments—Oaklands and Zuri Springs—offering starting prices from as low as KES 2.8 million. These developments provide a variety of investment opportunities, including land banking, rental income, and ideal family homes.
Tatu City, a rapidly growing mixed-use development, has already issued over 2,000 clean title deeds, underlining its credibility and commitment to transparent land transactions.
The properties boast an annual appreciation rate of up to 20 percent, supported by ready infrastructure, lifestyle amenities, and flexible payment plans.Currently, Tatu City hosts over 100 local and international businesses and accommodates more than 25,000 residents, workers, and students.
This new partnership is expected to accelerate homeownership rates while reinforcing Tatu City’s position as a premier destination for sustainable urban living in Kenya.
