Police in Mutitu have arrested a 33-year-old man and recovered various government-issued items in his possession.
The suspect, identified as Ernest Musyoka, was apprehended at his home in Itiko village. He had been on the police radar for allegedly threatening to kill and assaulting an individual.
During a search of his residence, officers discovered an assortment of government stores, including a senior Administration Police Service (APS) officer’s sweater, a former maroon APS sweater, and a green jungle sweater. Also recovered were three jungle belts, two pairs of APS trousers, three black berets, three jungle t-shirts, four pairs of green socks, an NYS green sweater, and two NYS shirts.
Musyoka is currently in custody as police finalize investigations ahead of his arraignment. Authorities have yet to disclose how he obtained the government-issued items, but investigations are ongoing.
