Kenyan singer Willy Paul has come out after his liquor business, Pyzzé Liquor, was raided by what he describes as “hired goons.”.In a statement on social media, the Umeme singer detailed the dramatic experience, indicating that the attack happened at his liquor store last night. He noted that the group’s initial goal was robbery but tried to conceal it as an act perpetrated by students.

“My shop was raided by a group of hired thugs who attempted to make it look like students had attacked it. In reality, their intention was to steal,” Willy Paul shared.

The artist explained how the attackers broke into his car and shop, destroyed property, and attempted to take alcohol and other things. They even made an attempt to break the CCTV system but failed to take away the recording.”They broke my car, broke into the shop, stole merchandise including some expensive liquor, and even attempted to steal the hard drive of the CCTV but failed,” he added.

Despite the chaos, Willy Paul assured no one was injured during the burglary. The police have since been notified, and investigations are continuing to find the thieves.

“I want to assure you all that no one was injured, and the police have been notified. Investigations are already underway, and we are working hand-in-hand with the police,” he assured.

He also vowed that Pyzzé Liquor is business as usual and thanked the fans for standing by him.

“Our business is still going on, and we appreciate your continued support. You will catch us tonight at The Bar Next Door. Tutoke stress uko,” he added.
