The United Democratic Alliance (UDA) has reiterated its commitment to implementing the government’s Bottom-Up Economic Transformation Agenda (BETA), saying continuous engagement with Kenyans remains central to achieving meaningful reforms.
The ruling party said its 2022 manifesto continues to serve as the foundation for government programmes and policies, with commitments being implemented through what it described as a step-by-step approach.
UDA emphasized that transformation requires more than policy execution, noting that public participation, citizen feedback, and engagement with wananchi are essential in ensuring government initiatives address the needs and aspirations of Kenyans.
The remarks came after Deputy Government Spokesperson Mwanaisha Chidzuga paid a courtesy call on UDA Secretary General Hassan Omar Hassan at the party headquarters, Hustler Plaza.
The meeting focused on enhancing collaboration in public communication, civic engagement, and improving how information on government reforms and development programmes reaches citizens.
The two leaders discussed ways of strengt
hening communication channels to keep Kenyans informed on the progress of the government’s agenda while encouraging greater public involvement in national development efforts.
UDA said effective communication and engagement will remain key in building public awareness, gathering feedback, and ensuring that government programmes remain responsive to the expectations of citizens.
